The 8th Seminar on Environmental Auditing and Working Meeting of ASOSAI WGEA were held online from October 25 to 26, 2021. SAI China, as the Chair and Secretariat of the ASOSAI WGEA, hosted the meetings.
Mr Hou Kai, Auditor General of SAI China, addressed the opening ceremony, presented the first Green Vision of Asia Award to SAI Thailand. Mr Hou also inaugurated the official logo of ASOSAI WGEA. Participants from ten SAIs made presentations and shared experience on the themes of “Promoting the Implementation of Government Environmental Responsibility” and “Auditing of Response to Climate Change”. External experts from UNEP and CRAES delivered keynote speeches. Deputy Auditor General Qin Boyong attended the meeting and gave a closing speech.
More than 100 representatives from 23 member SAIs attended the meeting.
